Christiana Quinn Martoccia

Where did you grow up? What made growing up there unique?

Woodbridge, Virginia.  The DMV has a community and culture of its own. And no I’m not talking about the department of motor vehicles haha.

What is your spirit animal?

Haven’t found it yet myself. Although, someone told me I was an Octopus.

If you drove to the airport tomorrow with no plan and  no ticket but a voucher to fly anywhere in the world for one week, where you going and why?  

I heard about this place called Christiania in Copenhagen. It’s supposedly a free society. It also sounds like my name so that’s cool.

If we sat next to you at a bus stop and struck up conversation, what would we talk about? 

There’s no chance I don’t have my earphones in.

When have you been the most satisfied in life? 

When I stopped excusing my ex’s abusive behavior.

What was the last thing you failed at? 

I burnt my dinner in the toaster oven.

If you could pony up to an empty bar top with anyone in the world, no one else in the bar, who are you sitting with?

Going to an empty bar would be so terribly awkward.

How would you describe your personal style? 

Style is self explanatory.

Do you think the future will be better than the present? 

It’s all subjective, isn’t it? Everyone’s going to experience it for better or for worse. The best thing you can do is live in the present and never question the future. You’ll spoil it for yourself.

Who or what influences your everyday life?

My own mistakes and advances.

What drives you creatively? 

Characters and colors.

What drives you insane?

Being in love. And I mean that in the loveliest way.

What energy do you channel when someone is taking photographs of you? 

Not sure. I know I want to come off as a human being rather than a model. I like my photos to look like stills from a movie.

Have you broken someone’s heart?

Unfortunately. I hate creating that feeling inside of someone, because I’ve been there before.

What lie do you repeatedly tell yourself? 

“I’m not going to spend any money on clothes this week”

Yeah that’s always a lie.

I’d like to be. Next stop is Mexico City with my babe.
