I went on a bit of a rant the other night over chips and salsa regards to how gnarly Jay Davies is at surfing. After watching enough slogging on the WQS webcasts to last me a few lifetimes, I needed to see something to get me psyched and remind me that we still have cowboys ripping in the wild. I needed to see Jay Davies surf.
Jay rides the tube right up there with anyone on the planet. Does massive airs. And has a rad style to accompany with it. Only problem, he loves his home in Western Australia and shouldn’t and doesn’t leave often. And who could blame him? Men in London and New York and Los Angeles, with fine suits and big salaries, have breakdowns and leave it all behind to find what Jay has. From his veranda you can sit and throw a rock at all that’s right with Western Australia, the waves, the wine, wide open space.
So, we give you a quick reminder not to forget the wild west and the cowboys who live there.
