For those of you who’ve hungout here before, you know the depth of Mark Oblow’s Back Den photo series — and you know his long list of accolades, his extremely high street cred in both the surf and skate communities, and that he shot the cover for What Youth Issue 3, and has continued to blow our mind with the range and intimacy of his images. We recently heard he moved studios and that he was in the process of transitioning his archive to his home. We needed to reload on imagery for Back Den, and brought a camera along with us. It presented the perfect opportunity to meet the man behind the lens of so many iconic moments in an all new What Youth Reports: Mark Oblow’s Back Den series.
