Amy Hood is a creative. In the most creative sense. She’s altered every genre she creates in and makes it her own. She is not afraid. Of anything it seems. Be it taboo, sexual, environmental or genre bending. She’s first and foremost an artist, both behind and in front of the camera as well as with design and aesthetic. She creates provocative zines with acclaimed photographer Jonathan Leder under the Imperial Pictures Publishing, and yesterday we showed you their latest creation “Vixens on Vacation.”
We visited Amy at her Woodstock, NY home and saw her work space at The Woodstock School of Arts in this all new episode of The What Youth Artist Series.
