Dion Agius literally walked the hard drive from the editing bay out into the parking lot Friday night to play Nti Sheeto for the first time in front of well-over 300 people at our HQ. We warmed up the crowd with a classic screening of Ozzie Wright’s 156 Tricks and then hit play and rocked out for 20 minutes to Dion, Ozzie Wright, Creed McTaggart, Thom Pringle and Warren Smith shredding and jamming all over Indonesia. Afterwards the cops came and made us go inside — which turned into an all-night mini-ramp jam session and before we knew it it was Saturday.
If you click into the Scrapbook there’s a bunch of random photos we shot trying to keep track of all the rad shit that was going down. Be sure to catch the online world premiere of Nti Sheeto by Dion Agius on Friday, August 9th right here at WhatYouth.com.

They’re leaving the strange party they wandered into after a Dirty Beaches show at Williamsburg’s Glasslands Gallery — truly they did, they sauntered all Australian through some odd open side door and into someone’s loft, where…

John John Florence in Barbados

John John in Barbados Collected Thoughts 001

This is John John Florence by the ghost of an Olympic pool at an abandoned resort in the parish of St. Lucy near the northern tip of Barbados, and what a useless cavity in the ground has he got here. The walls are too vertical to skate, there’s no water to ease the heat, there’s…
