We went to Paris a bit early to prepare for the upcoming This is Us: France trip and shop for camera gear. We spent all afternoon in several camera stores in the Canal District, on Le Republic Ave. Wild European camera stores here, stocked to the gills with film and antique cameras. We loaded up with a bunch of 35mm film for the trip. Kai brought a Rolleiflex 35mm camera with a 50mm, 1.8 lens and a 135mm, 2.4 for you camera nerds.
Nate Lawrence brought a Pentax PC35, point and shoot gem. Super fun camera for the road. After the camera shops it was “one beer, one bar” through the alleys of Paris. We stopped at Hotel Du Nord for lunch, washed it down with a Kronenbourg 1664 and an espresso before jumping back on the bikes to get lost in Paris again. Life is good.
Noah Deane, Brendon Gibbens, Wade Goodall and Dion Agius roll into Bordeaux to meet us in two days. Summertime in France is underway.

Dane Reynolds on Public Transportation Collected Thoughts 003

Craig Anderson between the bars Collected Thoughts 002
Photo by Kai Neville Kai took this photo of Craig a little before 1 a.m. in Brooklyn, New York. They’re leaving the strange party they wandered into after a Dirty Beaches show at Williamsburg’s Glasslands Gallery — truly they did, they sauntered all Australian through some odd open side door and into someone’s loft, where…
John John in Barbados Collected Thoughts 001
This is John John Florence by the ghost of an Olympic pool at an abandoned resort in the parish of St. Lucy near the northern tip of Barbados, and what a useless cavity in the ground has he got here. The walls are too vertical to skate, there’s no water to ease the heat, there’s…
