Dion Agius is a boss. Like really, he’s our boss. Like a really sexy, handsome boss. And bosses can really fuck shit up sometimes. He’s been punching his keyboard faster than Goro from Mortal Combat, planning every twist and turn of this trip for nine people, from villas and flights to dinners and motorbikes. But if you know Dion, anything he does while hungover is bound to be silly. Sometimes even retarded.
This was retarded: After a nasty night out on the town, the boss woke up early to book our flights for the next day to an island in Indo, only he booked flights to the wrong airport, on the whole other side of the island. Not to worry. Boss Dion — who somehow ended up with three different people’s cell phones from the night before — made a few calls and we were off to the other side of the island via cab with an incredibly scenic view. That, a few Bingtangs, and some great convos actually made for a wonderful road trip. Well done boss. —Warren Smith

Dane Reynolds on Public Transportation Collected Thoughts 003

Craig Anderson between the bars Collected Thoughts 002
Photo by Kai Neville Kai took this photo of Craig a little before 1 a.m. in Brooklyn, New York. They’re leaving the strange party they wandered into after a Dirty Beaches show at Williamsburg’s Glasslands Gallery — truly they did, they sauntered all Australian through some odd open side door and into someone’s loft, where…
John John in Barbados Collected Thoughts 001
This is John John Florence by the ghost of an Olympic pool at an abandoned resort in the parish of St. Lucy near the northern tip of Barbados, and what a useless cavity in the ground has he got here. The walls are too vertical to skate, there’s no water to ease the heat, there’s…
