Do you have any nicknames?

Sometimes Oko if somebody doesn’t really know my real name yet, otherwise noooope.

Where were you born and where are you currently living?

I’ve lived in Los Angeles my whole life. I’ve been in Echo Park for the past few years.

Will you send us a selfie?

Cats or dogs?

Both! I have a cat named Oko and a dog named One. They’re best friends!

We hear you’re a singer, what do you like to sing?

I have a solo pop project called Lena Fayre. My favorite records to sing along to are Dreamin’ Wild by Donnie and Joe Emerson, and Heaven or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins.

What do you wonder about the most?

What my animals are doing when I’m not home.

What’s been your biggest mistake?

I don’t believe in mistakes! I’m right where I should be, and I’m super grateful for all the experiences I’ve had whether I perceive them to be negative or positive. However, I’m more likely to do or say something I don’t feel great about afterward if I lose sight of myself. So, I try to stay grounded, in the moment, and full of acceptance.

What skills do you wish you possessed?

I wish I knew enough about cars to do work on my ’88 Toyota Land Cruiser. That would be really useful. Also, cooking.

What’s your current Job?

Musician. Other creative opportunities come and go.

What’s your dream job?

I’ve got it!

What’s the last thing you created?

A series of pressed flowers.

Favorite Hobbies?

Reading, kissing my baby pets, drying flowers.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?

Be brave and reach for joy.
