On the cover: A three-year-old Christian Fletcher photographed by his dad Herbie Fletcher in 1974.
We bled for this issue. Rode on the back of Christian Fletcher’s motorcycle through crowded Bali streets to prove our worth. And because of that we were given the opportunity to speak at length with Christian to give you an authentic portrait of one of the most interesting and fucking awesome characters we have. We had the opportunity to dig through the Fletcher archives of photos and video to give you an intimate and full-speed portrait of a person who lives too raw for most, but bleeds for our culture. His lineage is as pure as they come. And Christian and all of the Fletchers contributions to surfing, skating and living are infinite and ongoing.
We also explore Copenhagen with Arto Saari and feature 70 pages of his photography from the trip, speak candidly with Geoff Rowley, go to Panama with Jack Freestone, Ian Gentil and Creed McTaggart, Western Australia with Taj Burrow, Oliver Kurtz and Creed McTaggart, photograph the dark and sexy Cailin Russo and much more. This one means a lot. It’s 208 pages of glossy, book sized culture and fast living.
