How about a little disruption to start the summer? Today we’re releasing our 18th issue, and on the cover you’ll find the singer of The Murder City Devils, Spencer Moody, locked in a bit of a scuffle in the pit during their show at The Troubador in Los Angeles for The Brixton Broadcast. It was a fine night. A raucous night. A night of disrupting the norm.
And well, what the hell else is happening? Inside the pages are a variety of disruptors who are slowly but surely redefining what our cultures mean. And they’re starting with themselves. Practicing what they preach. Refusing to represent the scum, and taking matters into their own hands. We found ourselves with a bit of a theme issue by the time all was said and done.
Inside you’ll find features with: Dane Reynolds, Craig Anderson, Ryan Burch, Thomas Campbell, Russian skatebrand PACCBET (pronounced Rassvet) — who’s new line is dropping today as well — BOYTOY, Noa Deane, Ozzie Wright, Dion Agius, Chippa Wilson, and of course, The Murder City Devils. It’s another miracle in and of itself. Thank you to anyone who buys one, steals one, shows their friends one and talks about one — you’re why we keep calling the printer back and saying: “Yep, let’s do another one!”
