We brought inexperience. Green, naïve, unusually sunburnt faces to one of the most liberating skate event on the planet. In Copenhagen, Denmark. We brought tons of camera gear, surfboards for no reason and probably not enough beer. And we were welcomed with open arms, skate decks and homie high-fives. It’s the law of jante, baby. We’re all equal! True socialist attitudes abound all across Copenhagen. At lunchtime, midweek, skateboarders grind the shit out of ledges in front of office buildings while the corporate workers chew chicken salad sandwiches in business attire — watching and appreciating, not complaining and calling the cops, before quietly returning to their glass building office space. Happy as can be.
We’ll be world premiering our new film The Copenhagen Project on Friday. In the meantime we have photos, stories and video previews and behind the scenes looks at the making of a truly eye opening trip.
