Word in the water (and in the street) is that Noa Deane’s part in Cluster is pretty fucking sick. We’ll agree for sure. But the one thing that stands out (which you’ll see for yourself starting today and tomorrow and for sure on Tuesday when the movie is out on iTunes) is that Noa’s approach for this film was something very new for surfing. He tried to kill himself to pull shit. And while it led to one of the sickest surf sections released in a long time, his attitude during filming produced some of the rawest, most progressive, fun and energetic surfing in a part that we’ve ever seen.
