Listen to Flesh World New Album The Wild Animals in My Life

If you’re a fan of the Queer Core band Limp Wrist, Needles, or Brilliant Colors, well, this sounds nothing like them, but it does feature some members from all three. The Wild Animals in My Life is the first full length from Flesh World. This fuzzy and reverb-filled record has had me in a daze from the moment I heard the first snare hit. They’re staying within the same range of their past EP’s: catchy, fast, slow, faster, slower! Jess Scott’s mesmerizing vocals and Scott Moore’s guitar playing will have you thinking about them long after the record has gone silent. And I don’t want to be a kiss-ass but I think Flesh World is truly onto something. Iron Lung records continue to put out hits all over the musical spectrum and this is no different. The Wild Animals in My Life is out now. —Andrew Compton
