This sentence by Craig Anderson may in fact be true. The relationships we have with our boards are dysfunctional…at best. Love. Hate. Romance. And all out war. But it’s the most important thing we take to the beach and there is a beauty in them all because they’re all different, and each one is shaped and perfected by a smart man who’s wisdom we generally enjoy. But don’t surf enough with. We’re changing that.

In this new series, we’ll be showcasing the relationship between surfer and shaper. But we’re not going to do it standing in a shaping bay doing math. We’re going surfing. Shaper and surfer. Parking lot talk at it’s finest. In episode one, Craig Anderson and Hayden Cox of Hayden Shapes take a sweaty car ride to surf shitty waves. And that’s what it’s all about.
