Here is the beginning of another batch of surfers in our Adolescents series: 18-and-under surfers who get us excited for the future of What Youth and surfing in general. Groms throwing tail. Being little legends and ramping into the flats and keeping us thoroughly entertained.

Our first batch of groms introduced us to the game-changing antics of Yago Dora from Brazil, a batch of Australians who prove Oz has some crazy blood lines with parts from Eli Steele, Luke Hynd and Kai Hing while Taylor Clark got California in mix with massive airs and serious power gaffs.

Today we introduce you to Kanoa Igarashi from Huntington Beach, California. Kanoa has been traveling the world surfing since he was practically in pre-school (at least he looked like he was). Since then he’s grown up, put together an impressive into-the-flats air game and surrounded it with a seriously classic California style.
