Kolohe Andino waht youth issue 2

Editor’s Note: If you’re here to win the signed magazine: well hello! Welcome to the rest of the roll of film that led to Kolohe Andino’s self portrait on the cover (and back cover) of our second (and now sold out) issue 2. (It’s in the gallery above).

To win the signed magazine:

Tweet the YouTube link of Kolohe’s now favorite YouTube clip. You’ll find the answer somewhere in this post. Tweet it back to us @whatyouth and you could win. Also, enjoy the fruits of Kolohe’s photography starring Dane, Courtney and a cactus.

Kolohe’s surfing and his photography — independent of each other — both contributed quite a bit to Issue Two of our magazine.

The photos here were taken with his Hasselblad at Kolohe’s house (shots 1 – 5) and at What Youth one afternoon (shots 6 – 8). The first set revolves around an odd little cactus plant. The others show Dane Reynolds, Courtney and their dogs.
