Adidas Introduces Superstar 80s Blondey’s new kicks

12.10.19 – TAGS: ,

We wanted to share with you a first look at Superstar 80s by Blondey McCoy from Adidas Skateboarding. The iconic shoe received a bold transformation, this time delivered with a clear PVC upper, gum sole, distinguishable three black stripes and gold foil name stamp that loudly reads “BLONDEY.” The fully skateable Superstar 80s by Blondey also come with three pairs of high socks, all designed by the man himself, that pay homage to his home in SoHo, London.

Releasing alongside the shoe will be a trio of soccer-inspired socks, also designed by McCoy. A nod to his preferred riding kit—high socks and shorts—each pair folds under the knee and is printed with a custom River Thames graphic and the iconic three stripes branding. The blue colorway dons the text Picadilly & Oxford, while the red sports St. Giles & Cambridge— all circuses around the rider’s home district in Soho. The neutral white design carries a hero Blondey and adidas tag.

Maybe a little, shall we say “hot” for some, but these babies are looking sharp.

Go get ’em sneakerheads.
