Venice Pavilion Recreation BBQ Goes Off OG’s skate, write, + mosh to the beat of the 90’s

The block got hot over the Memorial Day weekend as adidas Skateboarding and BEYOND THE STREETS, in partnership with Juice Magazine, officially celebrated the recreation of the iconic Venice Pavilion with a BBQ-style block party showcasing the best of Venice Beach’s skateboarding, graffiti, and music scenes with an all-star skate jam and concert.

It was a who’s who of both the 90’s, the 00’s, and current day as surfers like Malia Ward, Herbie Fletcher and his skater son Greyson mixed it up with legends like Christian Hosoi, Tuma, Jeff Ho, Craig Stecyk III, and many more. Hell even Robert Trujillo of Metallica was there supporting. He is true to the scene.

Check out some pics from the day and go throw on some Suicidal Tendencies and flip that brim up.

For more info on the Venice Pavilion recreation project check out this interview we did with one of the masterminds behind it.
